Feedolog

News feeds are made to keep you scrolling, and you rarely come out of them knowing much more. I built Feedolog as an antidote to doomscrolling: a news feed that ends. Once you've read the latest stories, it tells you "You're all caught up" instead of serving you more.
Every few hours, an AI editor (Claude) reads worldwide news and science sources, picks the stories worth knowing about and turns each one into a digestible card: a TL;DR, the story in plain words, why it matters, the backstory, key facts, a fun fact, a quiz question, an open question to think through or ask someone else, and links to the original sources. If you'd rather listen, every story can be narrated, and the next one plays when it ends. Readers who want more can ask for an edition of their own, with more stories in the topics they follow.
The app is built with Flutter, for the web and mobile, on top of a Serverpod backend, so the whole project is written in Dart. You can read it at feedolog.com.
